The Model OMD-5508SHR super high resolution analog input board offers eight differential channels of analog inputs that can be sampled up to 50 kHz with true 16-bit resolution. The OMD-5508HR is a lower cost version of the OMD-5508HR which, although featuring a 16 bit A/D converter, has 14 bits of guaranteed resolution. The OMD-5808HR allows eight differential or 16 single ended inputs with up to 15 kHz sample rate.

Both boards are supplied with the OMD-DC-36 mating screw termination panel to accept field wiring directly. Also included is DirectView for Windows software, which provides a complete tutorial for board setup, including jumper settings, field wiring and board operation, as well as datalogging and display of inputs. A DOS version is also available. After board setup, the software can be used for low speed data acquisition (1 Hz).
